I went in to purchase a new gold chain for my son and had the pleasure of meeting Maryanne. She was knowledgeable and patiently showed us different choices.

The lady that helped me was quick to charge me and push me out the door. I only went with the purchase do to my daughter wanting the earnings she already had picked out.

This location has to be retrained and emphasize the coverage on the warranty when asking customers if they would like to purchase the warranty.

It’s sad to say losing a customer for years is better than offering to replace at least the one time even knowing I paid for the warranty. Hopefully, if corporate Zales reads this they reach out to my complaint but if not than I see how they do business.

While he was there they basically talked him out of the original ring he wanted, calling him cheap.

Not only that, he told them I was a size 4. So he proposed with a size 7 and hardly fit even with the ring guard that kept falling off and we had to keep going back to get it fixed since zales was making my ring which took 12 weeks.

So again, I’m ringless and it had to be sent out to get sized properly. And took 8 weeks. Not too long after, a side diamond came out and i find out on Christmas Eve, and I am mortified.

This ring was just made for me and now there’s a diamond missing!

So we didn’t go back to the bayshore zales at the west field mall, instead we go to the zales at smithaven mall in lake grove.

Customer service was great and they were very apologetic and we felt relief. So we sent out my ring to get fixed again and I continue to be ringless like the majority of my engagement and took a month for it to be fixed.

Doesn’t the jewelers there check the jewelry once it comes back from repair?! Nothing has been done for us except sorries which I no longer care for and I am ready to return the ring and get his money back and go elsewhere.

And we planned on getting our wedding rings there but we highly doubt it now because of all the troubles we’ve been through. We are both in the customer service industry and we don’t appreciate this service at all!

I have been engaged for 10 months and I have had no ring for months. These people just want to lie and steal your money!

Worst jewelry place on Long Island! The assistant manager, old lady with blonde short hair was a complete nightmare and very rude.

My husband and I first bought a ring together while in the store, she had processed the order online to be delivered to the house.

We winded up getting a better one so I went back to return it. She also reffered to me as “people like you” when talking about her policy on how she cant return it.

I left so aggarvated, and called the online customer service to get this ring returned. The man I spoke with told me that I was able to return the ring in store and “shes giving you wrong information” I walked in that store and in less then 2minutes she returned the ring and printed out confirmation for me.

I dont think having such a miserable lady running the store will do much justice. Sorry for the long review but I never been so pissed off in my life, i felt as if she wasnt taking me seriously bc of my age.

This Zales has the worst customer service. They open late – im here at the mall and all other stores are open – its after 11a.

I’ve also had other issues with this store.

I’m so sorry my engagement ring and wedding band were purchased at Zales. My son is in the process of getting engaged and I advised him not to purchase from Zales.

To make matters worse the salesperson guesstimated my ring size by just looking at my hands I politely told her that she was wrong, I know my ring size.

It still doesn’t fit right but I refused to leave my ring with them for another three weeks. I also notice the top of the ring is bent from the sizing.

I feel sorry for couples that buy their engagement wedding rings here. Go to a real jeweler not the McDonald’s of diamonds.

Worst customer service I have ever experienced 1 sales lady left a customer to go speak to her family while there was other customers waiting, the only other sales lady took forever with restocking a ring Never again will I shop at this zales for the amount of money we paid for our wedding bands better attention should have been given to us.

Pretty crummy customer service. While he was looking at it the rep offered to clean my engagement ring. She noticed it was damaged which I had not seen so I figured since we were purchasing the band I might as well have it repaired.

I was told they would have to have someone look at it to get an estimate for repairs but turn around time would be about 2 weeks for both our rings I did have an engagement shoot coming up so I need my ring back right away 1 week went by and I had not heard from anyone about a quote to repair my ring.

I called and I was told I would get a call back.

No one called. I explained I was told 2 weeks total for turn around and I needed the ring and its absurd that no one had contacted me for 10 days with the repair quote.

The lady said would push it through since it had been there so long. Very upset I called and the lady said that was a general idea when the ring would be done.

I cancelled my engagement shoot knowing I wouldn’t have the ring in time according to them. Then magically I got a call a few days later saying my ring was done.

Well now its too late I already rearranged my plans so thanks Zales. I went to pick up my repair and some nice lady who seemed to be new, assisted me.

When I said I was picking up my ring as well as checking on my fiance’s wedding band since it was two weeks since that was ordered another lady came over and said “One thing at a time miss” in a nasty tone and “Oh its definitely not here we would have called you”.

SO another week goes by no phone call. I let a few more days go by and finally call to check on his band. Thank for the phone call zales!.

They said it was checked in to the computer but it was not there. After more time goes by we are told the ring is still being made and I will be call when it’s in.

Again thanks for wasting my time!. So if you looking for somewhere that have accuracy of timing and some friendly staff this is not the place to go.
